The draft of this painting is taken from the book "Theatermalerei" by Bernd Boehm. It is a traditional "grisaille"-painting, which is done without the use of black paint. The different greys are mixed by using complementary colors such as green-red, blue-orange and yellow-purple (I feel like green-red works best).
